From Brno or from Vienna — we run both daily
Brno to Bratislava is roughly 130 kilometres on the D2 motorway, about 90 minutes of relaxed driving. From Vienna it is even shorter — under 80 kilometres on the A6, so you arrive in under an hour and keep the whole day for sightseeing.
We pick you up at any address: hotel, apartment, Vienna Airport (VIE), Brno Airport or a corporate office. At the end of the day we take you wherever you need, including a direct airport drop-off.
The Old Town: Michael's Gate, Main Square and the Blue Church
Bratislava's historic centre is pedestrian and surprisingly compact — two hours are enough for a comfortable walk. You stroll cobblestone lanes under Michael's Gate, past the Primate's Palace, the Main Square with Roland's Fountain and the Old Town Hall.
Along the way you will meet bronze Čumil peeking out of a manhole, the Slovak National Theatre and the Art Nouveau Blue Church of St. Elizabeth, one of the most photographed buildings in the city. The cafés on the square are perfect for a break.
Devín Castle: where the Danube meets the Morava
The ruins of Devín Castle sit on a cliff above the confluence of the Danube and the Morava, ten kilometres from the centre. It is one of the oldest settled sites in Slovakia and the best viewpoint of the trip — you can see across the border into Austria.
The drive from the centre takes about fifteen minutes, so Devín fits comfortably into the day. Your driver waits in the car park while you explore at your own pace.
Danubiana and the UFO observation deck
The Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum stands on a peninsula in the middle of the Danube, about twenty minutes from the centre. Open-air sculptures, water on three sides and a calm atmosphere make a pleasant contrast to the historic city.
If you prefer views, we stop at the UFO observation deck on the SNP Bridge — eighty metres up, with the castle, the Old Town and Petržalka in a single panorama.
